Consulting Services: DC, SCM and WH Process Improvement
Using proven business models, best-in-class benchmarks and practices and advanced engineering and computer modeling techniques designed to help our clients reduce their costs, increase their throughput and optimize their performance from existing and new processes and technologies. We provide three standalone or integrated Process Improvement Service specializations:


Cost Improvement and Reduction
Assessing and benchmarking process costs, including transaction costs, total transaction costs, ABC costs and total process costs, identifying inappropriate or unnecessary costs and targeting costs for reduction.
Process Performance Evaluation
Analyzing and benchmarking current "as-is" processes, procedures, automation, software, labor distribution, measurements and standards, warehouse design and rack layout, SKU-ABC movement analysis, order fulfillment, replenishment, materials handling, MDS and procurement functions, cycle times and rates, facility security, technology usage and deployment and identifying inappropriate or below average performance.
Operational Improvement
Identifying short and long-term operational improvements. Improving warehouse and DC efficiency, cost performance and through-put using advanced modeling and designs for business processes, assessing and redeploying organizational resources, using automation, introducing new technologies and software, targeting improvements to meet and/or exceed best-in-class indicators, etc.
Comparative Benchmarking
Comparing the operations of our clients to validated proprietary and third-party best-in-class and cross industry measures. Assessing and comparing cycle times, costs, performance and service levels. Performing specialized surveys of employees and customers, surveying suppliers and carriers, developing customized cross-industry benchmarks, developing intra and inter-industry benchmarks and interpreting results.
